Has anyone ever told you that you are not good enough to do something or you think too big? Well it happens to everyone. Recently I watched a movie about Steve Jobs. I can’t even tell you how many people doubted him in his lifetime. He had so many so many ideas, like having different fonts which people thought was to over detailed. It was because of the perfectionism he got fired him from his own company. Steve Jobs did not let anyone put him down. That’s the biggest reason he is a role model to me. He believed in his ideas every step of the way. No matter how crazy they sounded he made them happen.
Steve jobs created apple. He started with his friends in his parent’s garage. (wow from a garage to hundreds of stores around the world) Even though people thought he was absolutely crazy, he kept going. His energy came from the belief in his heart. Look at him now. Everyone knows who he is. I wouldn’t even be writing this post right now if it wasn’t for him. I truly think Mr. Jobs is a role model not just for his inventions. For having the quality to not let people put him down, is something that is so very rare.
Everyone has a point in life where they don’t believe in what they are doing and feel like they just want to quit. Somehow we all find the strength within in us that takes us from being dragged to flying. That strength is faith. Faith in what we started with. Nothing is impossible in this world. To the grown-ups out there did you think that you would be obsessed with something called facebook when you were a kid? Did you think that you would have a phone that could play videos and when you look away will stop? (Samsung Galaxy S4) The point is we have come such a long way this century. My hope is that every kid has something they want to accomplish in life other than passing a level in a video game ☺
What I have learned from so many people is to just go for it. No matter how crazy people think you are just believe and that will take you very far. There are so many successful people in this big world of ours. Barak Obama for example. Did anyone ever think that he would become president? Having the first African American president was a miracle for so many people. Do you think that if he let haters put him down he would be where he is today? I think we all know the answer to that!!! All of our parents tell us to believe in ourselves and I think we should listen to them before we regret it. (Trust me listening to parents the first time pays off ☺ happy mom?)
Well, we are a car. We cannot go without fuel or gas. Our gas is confidence. The most important person to respect is not our friend or even the queen of England. The most important person to respect is yes, ourselves.
It’s not a faith in technology. It’s faith in people. – Steve Jobs
THIS IS A POST DEDICATED TO ALL THE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE WHO BELIEVED.
